Terrina Chrishell

Terrina Christelle Stause was an American actress from the United States. She was born July 21, 1980. Her most well-known role is her character Amanda Dillon in All My Children, and Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. Stause was a Draffenville, Kentucky native. She earned her B.A. from Murray State University. She began performing in the theater in 2003. The name she chose for her middle name, "Chrishell", is an expression of portmanteau that was developed from the bizarre circumstances surrounding her birth. Her mother was born at the Shell station, and Chris helped with the birth. Strause, however, denies any gossip regarding her birth. She told Strause that her mother had car trouble and she pulled into the station. She entered pre-labor while she was at the station. The car attendant really helped her get to an emergency room. Strause was born in an in-hospital. Before she found out she was expecting, her mother separated her from her father. Jeff was half Japanese, half Spanish. Jeff is her father. Chrishell Strause had to live in a tent in middle school, so she was absent for the entire academic year. Strause described her experience of washing her hair by the river and hiding from her peers, and how she used food stamps. Her parents "struggled with mental and addiction health" and for a period joined the Worldwide Church of God when she was 10 years old. Her mother never had an employment that was steady and Strause describes her as free spirit and self-righteous.
